Books Built From Experience.
Written to Be Used.
Dickson Keanaghan is an independent publishing house built around a simple conviction: the best books should do more than communicate ideas. They should help people understand something better, do something better, or live something better.
Our books are organized into two growing libraries.
The Nursing & Healthcare Education Library, published primarily through The Mindful Nurse Press, brings decades of clinical practice, classroom teaching, and healthcare education to nurses, students, instructors, and other healthcare professionals. Its books range from ACLS, BLS, and PALS study resources to nursing workbooks, medical reference materials, and puzzle-based study books designed to make learning and review more useful—and sometimes more enjoyable.
The Four Pillars Library explores a different kind of education: how to build a serious and meaningful life around faith, responsibility, work & wealth, and legacy. These books examine the principles, habits, obligations, and ideas that help individuals govern themselves, build productive lives, care for what has been entrusted to them, and leave something worthwhile behind.
Different subjects. Different readers. The same publishing philosophy.
Field-Tested, Then Published.
Dickson Keanaghan does not begin with theories about what readers might need. Our books grow out of work that has already been done—in classrooms and hospitals, in businesses and families, and through decades of teaching, writing, working, building, and living.
That experience comes first. The book comes afterward.
It is the standard that has guided the house for more than four decades: create books grounded in experience, written with clarity, and made to be used.
Dickson Keanaghan titles are distributed worldwide through Ingram and are available through booksellers, online retailers, libraries, and other book-distribution channels.
Explore the two libraries. Discover the books. Put them to work.
